The project aims to sustainably improve the quality of life in the Gamole region of Ethiopia through infrastructure development and training programmes.

This includes the expansion of a training centre, the introduction of new training opportunities and the establishment of partnerships with educational institutions and industry. The training will be practical in order to provide graduates with relevant educational skills in areas such as health services and infrastructure improvements, renewable energy and water treatment.

Timeframe:

The project will be implemented from January 2025 to June 2027. Preparations have already started in 2024.

Founder's intention:

The project is in line with Gustav Ruut's founder's intention to help people in need and promotes sustainable development through the expansion of education and supply infrastructures.
